Inter Miami Remain Front-Runners for Casemiro Ahead of Summer Exit
With his contract at Manchester United nearing its conclusion, Casemiro is reportedly exploring a move to Inter Miami CF, who remain actively engaged in negotiations.
The midfielder is set to leave the Premier League side in June, and the MLS champions have emerged as one of the most prominent contenders for his services. A transfer would also see him share the league spotlight with Lionel Messi, a familiar opponent from South American competitions.

Although discussions are underway, no immediate agreement is expected. The Brazilian has drawn attention from multiple markets, including strong interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Nevertheless, reports from Fabrizio Romano suggest that Miami currently hold the advantage in the race.
Any move, however, faces structural challenges. MLS regulations limit clubs to three designated players, a quota already filled by Miami. As a result, a transfer would likely depend on Casemiro agreeing to reduced financial terms.
Meanwhile, some within Manchester United have expressed hope that he might reconsider. The midfielder has shown improved performances under Michael Carrick, prompting supporters to call for him to extend his stay following a strong outing against Brentford FC. Despite this, he remains intent on moving on.
His potential switch could align with a wider post-World Cup movement toward MLS. Antoine Griezmann has already agreed to join Orlando City SC from Atlético Madrid, while future moves for Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah remain under discussion as their contracts approach expiry.
