Inter Miami Target Casemiro as Free Agent to Replace Sergio Busquets

‎Casemiro’s announcement that he will leave Manchester United at the conclusion of his contract in June has sparked transfer interest from multiple clubs, including Inter Miami.
‎The Brazilian midfielder has confirmed his Old Trafford chapter is coming to an end, and the MLS outfit are reportedly assessing a move to sign him on a free transfer. The club see him as a potential successor to Sergio Busquets and a central figure alongside Lionel Messi.
‎Casemiro confirms Manchester United exit, with Inter Miami, LA Galaxy, Sao Paulo and Al-Nassr all linked to the Brazilian midfielder’s next move.

‎Multiple Clubs Enter the Picture
‎The Sun reports that Inter Miami are among those keen on securing Casemiro’s services. Brazilian sides are also attentive to his availability, with Sao Paulo — his formative club — ready to table a two-year proposal.
‎Saudi Arabian interest has likewise emerged, with Al-Nassr, home to Cristiano Ronaldo, mentioned as a possible landing spot. Due to his reported £375,000 weekly wage, his range of realistic destinations may be limited.
‎LA Galaxy Assess Designated Player Route
‎Inter Miami are not alone within MLS. The LA Galaxy have also been linked with the 31-year-old.
‎As outlined by the Daily Mail, the Galaxy are examining whether they can utilize the league’s designated player rule to facilitate a deal. Established in 2007 when David Beckham joined the club, the rule enables MLS teams to register up to three players whose earnings exceed the salary cap.
‎If completed, such a transfer would see Casemiro become the third former Manchester United fan favorite to represent the Galaxy, following Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who both previously played at Dignity Health Sports Park.
‎Message to the Supporters
‎When confirming his decision to depart, Casemiro expressed deep appreciation for Manchester United.
‎“I will carry Manchester United with me throughout my entire life.
‎“From the first day that I walked out at this beautiful stadium, I felt the passion of Old Trafford and the love that I now share with our supporters for this special club.
‎“It is not time to say goodbye; there are many more memories to create during the next four months. We still have a lot to fight for together; my complete focus will, as always, remain on giving my everything to help our club to succeed.”
‎Season Still in Motion
‎Despite the ongoing speculation, Casemiro remains focused on finishing strongly. He has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season and scored five times as Michael Carrick’s side pursue Champions League qualification.
‎Manchester United currently occupy fifth position in the Premier League table and are preparing to face Everton on Monday. A positive result would lift them above fourth-placed Chelsea.
‎Carrick has commended the midfielder’s mindset, highlighting his commitment and determination as the team aims to close the season on a high note.
